This position is located at the Eagle Hammock RV Park aboard Naval Submarine Base, Kings Bay, Georgia.

Duties

1. Responsible for the daily operation of the RV Park and Cabins. Takes reservations over the phone, email, fax, from postal mail, and in person. Sells retail items that are maintained in stock for the specific use of cabins and for RV/camper owners, and other sundry items. 2. Incumbent will be required to complete reservations within computerized reservation program and enter all program and resale income into point-of-sale (POS) system. Will be required to make daily deposits of all income received and deliver to designated drop safe. 3. Incumbent will be responsible for maintaining current information on SUBASE Kings Bay, MWR facilities and their programs to include the local commuting area for display and distribution to guests. 4. Incumbent will provide input to the RV Park Lead Recreation Assistant for various activities and trips for guests. Incumbent will provide information to the RV Park Lead Recreation Assistant for marketing these events. 5. Incumbent will assist in ensuring all Safety requirements are met and any infractions are reported to the RV Park Lead Recreation Assistant. 6. Incumbent will assist in ensuring all HAZMAT requirements are met and any infractions are reported to the RV Park Lead Recreation Assistant.

Requirements

  • Must meet Federal Employment suitability requirements and successful completion of background investigation. Background investigations are conducted using fingerprint identification and completion of background inquiry forms.
  • Must successfully pass the E-verify employment verification check. Any discrepancies must be resolved as a condition of employment.
  • You must go through a Personal Identity Verification (PIV) process that requires two forms of identification from the Form I-9.
  • May be required to pass pre-employment examinations.
  • Must provide proof of U.S. Citizenship or U.S. National.
  • A valid State driver's license is required to operate motor vehicles.
  • Must have your salary sent to a financial institution of your choice by Direct Deposit/Electronic Funds Transfer.

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Working knowledge of general office administrative and clerical procedures to receive mail, answer telephones, maintain files/office forms, and order supplies. Must have a working knowledge of cash handling procedures and required paperwork associated with the position. Must have a working knowledge of computer usage for reservations, Point-of-Sale (POS), e-mailing, and on-line training. Must be able to follow oral and written instructions. Must have experience in providing outstanding customer service. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer and part time experience.
