THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. This National Guard position is for a SUPPLY TECHNICIAN - TITLE 32, Position Description Number PDD0849000 and is part of the KY UTES, National Guard. ***NOTE: Current on-board applicants (AREA 1, Title 32 employees within KY UTES only) will retain current tenure and be temporarily promoted or reassigned, all others will be hired with indefinite tenure.***

Duties

As a SUPPLY TECHNICIAN - TITLE 32, GS-2005-7, you will perform routine and non-routine material coordination duties for special programs, maintenance, or production shops. Be responsible for local management of decentralized and decontrolled items which requires technical intervention to assure effective supply support and economy. Plan requirements, both quantitative and monetary, to satisfy customer needs. Authorize procurement and is responsible for funds management. Responsible for limited aspects of storage management. May develop and install local procedures and techniques to achieve and maintain smooth, effective, and coordination storage operations. Perform other duties as assigned. MINIMUM REQUIREMENT: Experience with supply actions, requiring ability to decide course of action to take, considering the circumstances or conditions encountered. Experience using computer and automation systems. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Must have at least 12 months experience utilizing governing supply regulations, policies, procedures, and instructions applicable to supply management. Conducting extensive searches for required information. Reconstructing records for complex supply transactions. Providing supply operations for storage management in special program areas, maintenance, and/or production shops. Performing routine aspects of supply work where assignments include individual case problems related to one of the major areas of supply management, such as inventory management, excess property, storage management, etc. EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Resume must have complete dates, work schedule, and/or hours worked per week for both civilian and military employment. (Example: 2 JAN 1980 to 3 MAR 1981; 0800-1630 M-F or JAN 1980 to MAR 1981; 40 hrs/wk) Use of year only and unspecified work schedule will result in disqualification.
