Duties
You will serve as a Logistics Management Specialist and primary logistics planner in the Support Operation.
You will plan, develop, coordinate, and integrate logistical plans, programs, policies, and procedures for operational logistics support and sustainment within the Battalion.
You will be responsible for logistics estimates (organic and contractor), participation in organization planning groups (OPGs) concerning logistics planning efforts, and ongoing updates to existing plans.
You will analyze sustainment requirements, prepares and conduct briefings, writes logistics portions of plans in OPORDs and FRAGOs, prepares studies, documents and reports relative to equipment, property and material readiness.
You will develop, plan, and justify support requirements, (funds, manpower, training, facilities, equipment, supplies and services) essential in accomplishing the logistics mission and/or in support of special projects and/or missions as required.

- Incumbent employee will participate in training exercises under field conditions in CONUS or OCONUS in austere conditions.

- The position is needed to ensure facility operations in support of Continuity of Operations Programs (COOP) and/or performance of duties and completion of tasks that are ME functions of the organization.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes conducting analysis of logistical plans, programs, and operations to determine necessary actions needed to plan, establish and develop logistical operations that are sustainable and synchronized. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).
