Duties
The Office of Housing provides vital public services through its nationally administered programs. It oversees the Federal Housing Administration (FHA), the largest mortgage insurer in the world, and regulates important parts of the housing industry. The Office of Housing is committed to building and preserving healthy neighborhoods and communities through homeownership, rental housing and healthcare opportunities.
The Office of Multifamily Housing is responsible for the overall management, development, direction and administration of HUD's Multifamily Housing Programs. HUD's Multifamily programs provide mortgage insurance to HUD-approved lenders to facilitate the construction, substantial rehabilitation, purchase and refinancing of multifamily housing projects. MFH is widely responsible for production, asset management and portfolio oversight, and recapitalization of assisted properties, and field operations. As part of the National Housing Act of 1934, Congress created the Federal Housing Administration (FHA) which later became a part of the Department of Housing and Urban Development's (HUD) Office of Housing in 1965.
As a/an Supervisory Program Manager, you will:
-Direct a full range of management support services, including overall advisory assistance; organizational planning, evaluation and analyses; delegations of authority; coordination and control over applicable regulations, forms and issuances; reports management; impact analysis; and process engineering for areas of responsibility.
-Advise senior leadership on all matters involving information management support for program initiatives. Serve as a consultant and catalyst for creating new ways to use technology.
-Develop, present, and direct the entire life-cycle management processes of program projects from development to implementation; including but not limited to, managing the program project, developing the program approach, monitoring and overseeing the program progress; ensuring adherence to cost and schedule, tracking and reporting on progress. justifies resources in fiscal and resource documents, reports, briefings, and other materials.

Qualifications
You must meet the following requirements within 30 days of the closing date of this announcement.
For the GS-15, Specialized experience is one year of experience at the GS-14 level that is directly related to the position and which has equipped the candidate with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position.
Specialized experience is defined as: providing leadership in the development of information systems and the formulation of policies impacting cybersecurity compliance/oversight and data management.
Experience may have been gained in either the public, private sector or volunteer service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis. To ensure full credit for your work experience, please indicate dates of employment by month/day/year, and indicate number of hours worked per week on your resume.
Time-in-Grade: In addition to the above requirements, you must meet the following time-in-grade requirement, if applicable:
For the GS-15 you must have been at the GS-14 level for 52 weeks.
Time After Competitive Appointment: Candidates who are current Federal employees serving on a non-temporary competitive appointment must have served at least three months in that appointment.
