You will serve as an Acquistion Specialist in the Operations Department of NAVSUBMEDRSCHLAB NEW LONDON CT.

Duties

You will monitor contractors' performance and provide technical advice to scientists and contractor(s) within the scope of the Statement of Work and performance Work Statement. You will report requirements including Contract Discrepancy Reports and contractor past performance for the Contractor Performance Assessment Reports. You will provide post-award oversight, such as setting up the Contracting Officer Representative . You will communicate with the Contracting Officer as a technical liaison.

• This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
• You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.

Qualifications

For GS-12 :Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector: Experience working within the Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment. Experience serving as the technical liaison for pre-award and post award functions. Experience working within the Government Purchase Card Program.
