Duties
-Independently operate, maintain, and monitor a large, high, and significant hazard dam and its associated facilities.
-Serve as the journeyman maintenance mechanic with responsibility for day-to-day scheduling for the operation, testing, and maintenance of the assigned high and significant hazard dam in accordance with the Standing Operating Procedures (SOP), Maintenance Management System (MMS), Emergency Action Plan (EAP), and other documents, directives, and manuals.
-Test, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical systems at the facility including hydraulic systems up to 3000 psi, backup power generation units, heating and cooling systems, and electric motordriven gear reduction hoisting equipment.
-Install, repair, modify, troubleshoot, load, and test new and existing electrical lines, systems, circuits, fixtures, controls, and equipment in accordance with blueprints, diagrams,
-Operate heavy equipment including motor graders, excavators, dump trucks, pay loaders, tracked loaders, dozer, and skid loaders with multiple attachments including tree grinder, post hole diggers, buckets, trenchers, and blades.

Selective Placement Factor: This position requires a current, valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL) License. Failure to provide proof of such license will cause you to be rated ineligible for this position.
