This SUPERVISORY GENERAL SUPPLY SPECIALIST is located in the United States Property and Fiscal Office (USPFO) and is part of the CA USPFO Army.

Duties

THIS IS A T5 EXCEPTED SERVICE, PERMANENT POSITION The primary purpose of the SUPERVISORY GENERAL SUPPLY SPECIALIST, GS-2001-11, is to direct the development, coordination, and implementation of procedural changes; to direct the performance of management/program analysis for the logistic activities under the jurisdiction of the USPFO; and to direct acquisition, accountability, incoming, outgoing and formal transfer of logistic asset for the USPFO in support of the Federal and state mission. Position is responsible for the management, direction, and supervision of employees.

SUPERVISORY GENERAL SUPPLY SPECIALIST, GS-2001-11: Must have at least one year of specialized experience, equivalent to at least the GS-09 level, or equivalent pay band in other pay systems in the Federal government. This experience may also have been obtained in the private sector, but must demonstrate that it is comparable to the GS grade indicated. Specialized experience may have been demonstrated by performing duties such as: Experience exercising supervisory personnel management responsibilities; Experience implementing logistics/supply computer operations and programs; Experience directing the development of local supplements, operating instructions and updates; Experience advising the Supply Management Officer on available resources of personnel, equipment and funds. Education

Substitution of Education for Specialized Experience: Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree that demonstrates the knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to do the work required.
