About the Position: This position is located at the 359th Medical Group in Randolph Air Force Base as part of the Medical Logistics Department. The position may also include working out of Lackland Air Force Base.

Duties

Expedites delivery of urgently required items through correspondence and/or telephone calls to inventory control points, manufacturers, or other organizations. Completes complex requisitions. Identifies potential discrepancies, resolves those which involve special program requirements for urgent, critical shortage items requiring specialized procedures and efforts. Uses experienced judgment and consults with customers, resource management, contracting and vendors to determine requirements and time frames. Selects and uses the appropriate method to confim or place orders primarily by using a purchase order or may use government credit card procedures when applicable.
