Duties
The selectee will serve as a Management and Program Analyst (Acquisition) in the Office of Strategic Planning and Policy. Typical work assignments include:

Qualifications
Specialized Experience: You qualify for the GS-14 level (starting salary $ 132,368) if you possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 level performing duties such as: advising, evaluating, assessing and recommending solutions to critical problems affecting the operation of acquisition program goals and objectives; developing and communicating acquisition policies and procedures; drafting acquisition documents such as Mission Needs Statements, Acquisition Program Baselines, Concepts of Operations, and Acquisition Plans; and leading presentations and briefings for multi-level audiences; ensuring the Life cycle acquisition of all classes of materials comply with government acquisition statutes, regulations, policies, and business processes.
In addition to meeting the Specialized Experience referenced above, applicants must also: Possess and maintain Mid-Level (II) Federal Acquisition Certification in Project/Program Management (FAC-P/PM).
The Office of Personnel Management (OPM) must authorize employment offers made to current or former political appointees. If you are currently, or have been within the last 5 years, a political Schedule A, Schedule C, Non-career SES or Presidential Appointee employee in the Executive Branch, you must disclose this information to the Human Resources Office.
