This position is located at United States Army Special Operations Command (USASOC), Fort Liberty, NC. Fort Liberty is a culturally diverse area with both rural and city populations, co-located Fayetteville, North Carolina, centrally located in the beautiful state of North Carolina, which enjoys a temperate year-round climate and world-renowned colleges and universities.

Duties

Manages the contracting aspects of the acquisition program. Serves as the liaison between the requirement owner and the contracting agency. Extracts and studies data to prepare various forms and reports relative to strategies, execution, administration of requirement and acquisition management. Provides interpretation and guidance concerning regulations, procedures, and policies for organizational compliance.

• This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 10% of the time.

In addition to meeting the basic requirement above, to qualify for this position you must also meet the qualification requirements listed below: Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience performing duties such as: 1) Managing the contracting aspects for requirement and acquisition program for an organization; 2) Develops acquisition strategies by reviewing and interpreting contracting policy; 3) Prepares requirement and acquisition packages for the acquisition of products and services; 4) Extracts data to monitor the effectiveness, efficiency, and productivity of the organization; 5) Experience leading a team of contracting professionals; and providing financial, contractual and acquisition oversight of projects.
