THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. This National Guard position is for a SUPPLY TECHNICIAN-TITLE 32, Position Description Number PDD2663000 and is part of the KY 75 TC, National Guard. ***Current on-board applicants (AREA 1B, Title 32 technicians within 75th Troop CMD) will retain current tenure and be temporarily promoted or reassigned, all others will be hired with indefinite tenure.***

Duties

As a SUPPLY TECHNICIAN-TITLE 32, GS-2005-7, you will receive Food Service support requests and coordinate with unit staff to prioritize missions. Monitor mission support capabilities of the Field Feeding Platoon. Ensure sufficient assets are allocated and available to support the mission. Responsible for adjusting the scheduled meal menus and coordination with vendors. Assist in the development of the Field Feeding Platoon logistics policies. Process required forms and input unit level logistics feeder information into the organizational readiness report. Prepare logistic plans for scheduled training and deployments. Monitor high priority requisitions. Responsible for Class I distribution and inventory control functions. Review, establish deadlines, and forward logistics correspondence and documents. Coordinate the receipt, inventory, and issue of new equipment fielded to the Field Feeding Platoon. Initiate convoy requests, movement plans, and transportation requests to move equipment and personnel. Prepare reports and schedule repair or maintenance of unit assigned equipment. Responsible for receipt, storage, and issue of dry rations. Maintain pertinent regulations, policies and precedents which effect the use of the field feeding platoons. Serve as the primary technical specialist regarding Field Feeding Platoon and Food Service operations. Review and forward consumption reports. Review AT and IDT food service records and issue guidance to logistical and food service personnel. Forecast, prepare requests, and coordinate receipt of bulk and package petroleum, oil, and lubricants. Coordinate and complete turn-in actions for POL. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications

MINIMUM REQUIREMENT: Experience with supply actions, requiring ability to decide course of action to take, considering the circumstances or conditions encountered. Experience using computer and automation systems. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Must have at least 12 months experience utilizing governing supply regulations, policies, procedures, and instructions. Experience conducting extensive searches for required information. Experience reconstructing records for complex supply transactions. Experience providing supply operations for storage management in special program areas, maintenance, and/or production shops. Experience performing routine aspects of supply work where assignments include individual case problems related to one of the major areas of supply management, such as inventory management, excess property, storage management, etc. EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Resume must have complete dates, work schedule, and/or hours worked per week for both civilian and military employment. (Example: 2 JAN 1980 to 3 MAR 1981; 0800-1630 M-F or JAN 1980 to MAR 1981; 40 hrs/wk) Use of year only and unspecified work schedule will result in disqualification.
