You will serve as a ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT ASSISTANT of NAV RECRUITING DISTRICT COLUMBUS.
Duties
You will create, compose, edit, calculate, revise, retrieve, store, print, and copy a wide range of documents in draft and final form.
You will utilize multiple functions and software such as word processing, calendar, electronic mail, spreadsheets, database, and graphics in the production of these
products.
You will check transmittals for proper clearances.
You will receive and answer routine telephone inquiries or refers to appropriate staff member if necessary.
You will advise command personnel on fitness report/evaluation matters.
You will assist command personnel with travel orders and vouchers.
You will serve as primary or alternate civilian personnel liaison for the command.
Requirements
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-04 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Using Microsoft Word to produce correspondence and reports; 2) Replenishing supplies based on office needs; 3) Maintaining office files in subject and chronological order; and 4) Making arrangements for travel.

The work is sedentary, although slight physical effort may be required.
Education
In lieu of general/specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
Completion of at least four full academic years of education above high school
OR
have a combination of experience and education as described above that equates to one year of experience.
