Duties
This position is located in the VA Medical Center, Milwaukee, Wisconsin, performing journeyman pipefitter duties in the Plumbing and Electric Shop of the Facility Management Division.
Major Duties:
-Install, modify, repair, troubleshoot, and test new and existing high pressure piping systems.
-Install, maintain, and repair all utilities such as water, sewerage and gas systems.
-Install and repair steam operated technical medical equipment (auto-claves, washer sterilizers, bedpan washers, etc.).
-Work from work orders, plans, sketches, and oral instructions.
Work Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday, 7 AM-3:30 PM and may be required to be present to provide off-hours support for utility outages, maintenance and projects support, etc.
