Duties
You will be responsible for the development, analysis, assessment, review and maintenance of Marine Corps Architecture Descriptions and architecture data.
You will develop a broad understanding of the DoD frameworks, policies, procedures, and data sources that pertain to architecture development and the processes supported by architecture products.
You will use software applications, databases, and knowledge management procedures and environments as designated by organization leadership.
You will lead the development, analysis, maintenance, and configuration management of required capabilities-based Architecture Descriptions.
You will participate in high-level planning and working groups responsible for the development and maintenance of joint, Naval, and other Agency Architecture Descriptions.
Requirements

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
Qualifications
The employee in this position is responsible for the development, analysis, assessment, review and maintenance of Marine Corps Architecture Descriptions and architecture data. The employee develops Architecture Descriptions by applying a systems engineering approach to model and analyze capabilities (i.e., units performing tasks and creating effects within specific operating environments) in support of CD&I's Force Planning and Requirements Management missions.
The employee must develop a broad understanding of DoD frameworks, policies, procedures, and data sources that pertain to architecture development and the processes supported by architecture products. The employee will be required to conduct research, collect information from stakeholders, lead working groups that support architecture development, and develop and present information to train stakeholders who participate in the architecture development process or who use architecture and related decision-support products.
