Duties

Direct supply/logistical support for the organization. Provide staff assistance in all areas of supply and logistics management processes. Monitor the travel for the organization to get best cost travel and keep the travel budget within compliance. Responsible for managing a large vehicle fleet for the organization. Provide staff assistance for resource management of supply and logistics programs within the organization.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • Position is a Testing Designated Position, must successfully complete a pre-employment drug screen.
  • Must successfully complete a pre-employment physical.
  • Valid State driver's license required.
  • May be required to complete a 1-year trial period.
  • Temporary Duty (TDY), approximately 30% of the time.
  • May be required to obtain and maintain a Commercial Drivers License with Hazardous Material Endorsement.
  • May be required to lift and move supplies and equipment weighing up to 50 or more pounds.
  • Appointment to this position is subject to a background investigation.

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-07).
