About the Position: This position is under the supervision of the Ground Combat Support R&S Directorate. The referral list(s) generated by this announcement may be used to fill future vacancies in other organizations throughout the Integrated Logistics Support Center (ILSC) in Warren, MI.
Duties
Developing and coordinating the integrated logistics support plans for one or more major vehicle system programs.
Collects, analyzes, and evaluates logistics data, and/or coordinates the efforts of functional experts in data collection and analysis.
Plans, schedules and conducts necessary studies to obtain information and verify results.
Provides advice and guidance on policy and procedural requirements to acquisition managers and personnel of functional areas involved in the assignment.
Summarizing data and findings in the form of plans, reports, briefings, timetables, information papers, data compilations, etc., for use in decision-making by system proponents.
Requirements
- This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment. A background investigation and credit check are required.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience.
Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes supply chain automated systems, (such as the Logistics Modernization Program (LMP) or the Logistics Information Warehouse (LIW); developing new or improved logistics practices; reviewing logistics programs to identify problems and recommending alternative policies or programs; and providing input for acquisition or life cycle logistics strategies regarding supply, readiness, or maintenance. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11).
