This position is located at the United States Mint in the Manufacturing Unit of the Planning and Customer Support Division. As a Supplier Management Specialist, you will be responsible for effectively managing the Mint's critical suppliers of numismatic packaging materials and other critical materials necessary to efficiently produce numismatic products at the United States Mint (approximately $500 Million annually).

Qualifications

You must meet the following requirements within 14 days of the closing date of this announcement. For the GS-13, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position includes: -Identifying material requirements in support of industrial and/or manufacturing processes; AND -Managing the supplies needed in support of industrial and/or manufacturing operations. In addition to the above requirements, you must meet the following time-in-grade requirement, if applicable: For the GS-13 you must have been at the GS-12 level for 52 weeks.
