As a Computer Maintenance Management Software (CMMS) Specialist, you will serve as a regional Program Manager and Expert.
Location of position: Public Buildings Service, Facilities Management Division, Innovation, Technology and Performance Branch. Location will be a GSA Region 5 office building, decided upon selection.
We are currently filling one vacancy, but additional vacancies may be filled as needed.
Duties
Serves as a regional Program Manager and expert for the Public Buildings Service (PBS), Great Lakes Region, with emphasis on the CMMS and intra/internet technologies related to the CMMS program, providing key input to program implementation and development at the regional level, to other GSA regions and to top regional management, including the Assistant Regional and Deputy Regional Administrators.
Applies a wide range of qualitative and/or quantitative methods to assess and improve CMMS program effectiveness and provides recommendations on use of CMMS to improve all operational programs regionally and nationally.

The GS-13 salary range starts at $98496.00 per year.
If you are a new federal employee, your starting salary will likely be set at the Step 1 of the grade for which you are selected.
To qualify, you must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level or higher in the Federal service.
Specialized experience is experience applying Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) concepts, principles, and practices concerned with the computerized maintenance management of office buildings, courthouses, and other public buildings. This experience would include providing training and serving as a technical resource on a computerized maintenance management system; and analyzing and reporting out on data being collected to help management better understand the maintenance aspects of buildings.
