About the position: This position will be assigned to Outdoor Recreation at Joint Base Charleston AFB, SC 29404. This is a Regular Part Time position offering annual/sick leave, Health/Dental and Life Insurance, 401K and Retirement.

Duties

Performs and/or assists in operation and maintenance of recreational facilities. Establishes schedules of events as well as the rules and regulations to be observed. Types of ~ duties include, but are not limited to, the following: Monthly schedule of employees, Time cards, maintaining equipment logs, inventory, running local area programs and boating equipment for safe operation; demonstrates how to properly handle and use equipment and techniques of various outdoor activities such as camping, swimming, and boating. Inspects outdoor recreation and equipment for security and general conditions; and schedules campsites, cabins, boats, and other outdoor recreation equipment for use, Performs other related duties as assigned. Must be able to satisfactorily complete a National Agency Check. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas:

Education

Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. This position does not allow for education substitution.

FOREIGN EDUCATION: Education completed in foreign colleges or universities may be used to meet the requirements. You must show proof the education credentials have been deemed to be at least equivalent to that gained in conventional U.S. education program. It is your responsibility to provide such evidence when applying.
