About the Position: Netcom Enterprise Technology Command, 516th Signal Brigade, 30th Signal Battalion, Schofield Barracks HI.
Develops and disseminates policies and directives pertinent to courses of instruction available and eligibility requirements for military schools and civilian institutions for both the 30th Signal Battalion Headquarters and Headquarters Detachment and United States Army Network Enterprise Center (NEC) Detachment comprised of 212 military and civilians.
Duties
Develop and disseminate policies and directives pertinent to courses of instruction available and eligibility requirements for military schools and civilian institutions.
Serve as quota manager for all Off Island Schools.
Utilize automated systems such as, Digital Training Management System (DTMS), Defense Travel System (DTS), and Army Training Requirements and Resources Systems (ATTRS) to assist the staff, supervisors, and managers in the acquisition of resources.
Plan, analyze, and coordinate the execution of the annual training budget.
Submits all required reports to higher headquarters with regard to training status for the organization.
Directs and establishes priority and completing dates in consultation with the supervisor.
Provides information regarding training budget procedures and status of funds to assigned units and staff
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment.
- This position may require some light physical effort such as carrying books and computer generated listings, walking, and standing.
