This National Guard position is for a LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST, Position Description Number D1233P02 and is part of the PA Deputy Chief of Staff for Logistics DCSLOG, National Guard.

Duties
As a Logistics Management Specialist, GS-0346-09, you will utilize an extensive knowledge of logistics programs/operations and a clear understanding of automated systems to manage projects and programs for systems integration of CSS automation. Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve technical problems identified in trouble tickets and perform initial setup of specified Automated Logistics Information System computers to include loading software, configuring modem and network card(s), assigning Internet Protocol (IP) addresses with correct subnet, connectivity to the network, and completing technical inspections. Analyze requirements, manage, and coordinate hardware Automated Logistics information System and peripherals pertaining to the receipt, distribution, installation, and replacement of systems. Represent the Supervisor Logistics Management Specialist/DCSLOG on DCSIM Configuration Control Boards (CCBs). Perform other duties as assigned.

This is a Dual Status Excepted Service Technician position in the Pennsylvania Army National Guard.

GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Experience, education or training involving judgment and/or analytical ability in the logistics field. Experience using computer and automation systems.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Application must indicate at least 24 months experience, education, or training involving detailed knowledge of organizations and their functions in logistical support (i.e., supply, maintenance, quality assurance, facilities). Experience integrating actions of a variety of specialized support activities in order to meet program goals. Experience interpreting and applying regulations, laws or practices. Experience planning and organizing work assignments.
