Duties

Typical work assignments include: Supervise and oversee assigned administrative personnel in maintaining supplies inventory; assisting with awards tracking and processing; records management; scheduling and meeting management; reports; visitor access; employee training requirements; property/procurement requirements; facilities management; IT equipment and capability needs, etc. Provide Executive Secretariat support for the Region. Assist regional leadership in receiving, reviewing, assigning, coordinating, and responding to all taskers and correspondence assigned through the ExecSec process. Provide Budget-related support for the Region. Coordinate closely with leadership to oversee the development, execution, and tracking of Region's assigned budget. Assist regional staff with questions and issues related to proper planning and execution. Provide HR-related support for the Region. Coordinate day-to-day human capital requests, issues, and requirements; recruitment and retention activities; time and attendance; regional onboarding / offboarding needs and requirements, etc. Manage the day-to-day fleet management requirements of the Region, to include handling inquiries and requests, collaborating with HQ Fleet on program management requirements, coordinating with field staff on issues or concerns, and ensuring compliance and reporting of utilization and safety.

Qualifications

To be considered minimally qualified for this position, you must demonstrate that you have the required experience for the respective grade level in which you are applying. You qualify for the GS-13 grade level, if you have: EXPERIENCE: At least one (1) year of specialized experience at the GS-12 grade level (or equivalent) performing the following duties: Managing multiple office administrative systems and tasks including travel, overseeing the Executive Secretariat process, shipping and receiving, Web Time and Attendance, Human Capital, Performance and Learning Management System, fleet vehicle management, and liaison to property/facility management; Providing analysis and advice to senior management on the evaluation of government programs and operations; AND Interpreting administrative laws, policies, regulations, and precedents applicable to the region. National Service Experience (i.e., volunteer experience): Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Time-in-Grade Requirements: Under competitive merit promotion procedures, any individual who is currently holding, or who has held within the previous 52 weeks, a General Schedule position under a non-temporary appointment in the competitive or excepted service, must meet "time-in-grade" requirements (have served 52 weeks at the next lower grade of the grade for which you are applying).
