This position is located in the Financial Management section, Lawton Indian Hospital, Lawton Service Unit. The purpose of this position includes a wide range of financial and budgetary functions in the analysis and reconciliation of program expenditures and execution of the service unit budget. Task performed complement the work of higher grade co-workers and supervisor. The incumbent serves under the supervision of the Chief Financial Officer.
Duties
Prepare salary and benefit summaries by budget activity program and cost center.
Verify all procurement requisitions and purchase orders reflect correct budget activity, treasury symbol, fund, fiscal year, signatures and enter data into the Commitment Register.
Maintain and file tabular material (e.g. correspondence, reports, charts, statistical tables, and request for contracts).
Assist the Budget Analyst to gather and abstract historical/fiscal data including statistical information necessary for projecting the use of funds.
Perform routine and recurring budget duties to allow the Budget Analyst to perform more complex detained review and analysis functions.
Qualifications

You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
GS-7: Your resume must demonstrate at least one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-6 grade level in the Federal service obtained in either the private or public sector performing the following type of work and/or tasks: Determines/verifies accounting codes, receive/review/examines procurement documents, Identifies & applies discount and credits, reconciles funds, maintain fund control procedures, prepare budget worksheets, compile/consolidates various research of undelivered orders/disbursement, etc.
Time In Grade
Federal employees in the competitive service are also subject to the Time-In-Grade Requirements: Merit Promotion (status) candidates must have completed one year of service at the next lower grade level. Time-In-Grade provisions do not apply under the Excepted Service Examining Plan (ESEP).
