This National Guard position is for a General Supply Specialist, Position Description Number NGD1958000 and is part of 114 LGR SQ . This is a Title 32, Dual Status, position.

Duties
As a General Supply Specialist, GS-2001-09, you will:
This position is located in the Operations Compliance Function, Logistics Readiness Squadron (LRS), Mission Support Group, at an ANG Aviation Wing. The primary purpose of this position is to provide centralized oversight of critical squadron programs. Measures LRS processes through inventory analysis, surveillance, trends and standards, develops and writes local policy/procedures and performs over the shoulder inspections. Also responsible for all funds management functions including satellite stock fund management in support of unit mission.

Qualifications
NATIONAL GUARD MEMBERSHIP IS REQUIRED: This is an excepted service position that requires membership in a compatible military assignment in the National Guard. Selectee will be required to wear the military uniform. Acceptance of an excepted service position constitutes concurrence with these requirements as a condition of employment.
MILITARY REQUIREMENTS: TSgt up to MSgt are eligible to apply. Selected individual must be assigned to a compatible military position in the following AFSC upon date of hire: 2S0X1. Aptitude scores can be checked on the vMPF or at the Customer Service in the Force Support Squadron and physical profile in the medical squadron. Military grade inversion within the full-time work force is not permitted. The military grade of the full time supervisor must equal or exceed the military grade of personnel supervised.
GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Experience, education or training involving administration of supply management, storage, cataloging, packaging and distribution or other work which provided the applicant with a general knowledge of one or more aspects of the supply field. Experience using computer and automation systems.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Must have at least 24 months experience in the competencies/KSAs listed. Experience, education, or training dealing with cost estimates, budgets or funding management. Experience conducting extensive and exhaustive searches for required information; reconstruct records for complex supply transactions; and/or provide supply operations support for supply activities.
Knowledge, Skill, and Abilities (KSAs): Applicants are strongly encouraged to submit a separate sheet(s) addressing the Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSAs) and how they relate to work experience, education or training.
Knowledge of and skills in utilization of personal computers, word processing, spreadsheet, presentation applications, and other programs and databases and the ability to prepare charts or graphs.
Skill to conduct surveillance visits and special analysis of all supply elements to ensure compliance with directives and procedures.
Skill to analyze stratification reports to measure progress in meeting objectives; to assemble and prepare statistical data depicting trends; to identify problems and take or recommend appropriate corrective actions; and to independently select and apply appropriate procedures.
Knowledge of established supply systems and existing policies and procedures that influence the support and services provided.
