The selectee of this position serves as a Supervisory Budget Analyst. You will be responsible for planning, managing, and administering the Judicial Security Division (JSD) salaries and expenses (S&E), work plans, audit, and budget formulation and execution.
Duties
As a Supervisory Budget Analyst at the GS-0560-14 level, some of your typical work assignments may include:
Developing overall plans and objectives for the assigned program and directs the formulation of highly effective management strategies.
Developing, reviewing, analyzing, and coordinating budget formulation and/or execution.
Performing a wide range of analytical and administrative duties associated with the budget process, and all facets of financial management and strategic planning.
Exercising technical and administrative supervisory responsibilities.

Qualifications
GS-14 TIME IN GRADE REQUIREMENTS: Merit promotion applicants must meet applicable time-in-grade requirements to be considered eligible. One year at the GS-13 grade level is required to meet the time-in-grade requirements for the GS-14 grade level. (Must submit your SF-50 that shows Time-in-Grade eligibility and reflects your title, series, and grade. No award SF-50 will be accepted).
You may qualify at the GS-0560-14 level, if you fulfill one of the following qualifications:
One year (12-months) of full-time specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in the Federal Service that demonstrates experience in: 1). Coordinating, reviewing, and analyzing salaries & expenses (S&E) budget formulation and execution requests; 2). Serving as a technical authority with strong analytical and writing skills on budget formulation; 3). Providing expert advice and direction to all levels of management; 4). Leading and conducting complex analysis and research with all phases of the budget process; and 5). Developing policies and guidance for a budget formulation program.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
