About the Position: This is a Direct Hire Solicitation. This position will be filled on a Permanent basis.

Duties

Assesses several alternatives to assist customers in justifying investments and in planning their budgets for recommended solutions. Engineers the identification of other groups or disciplines that may be impacted by the business process. Assists customers (especially cross-functional consortiums) design workflows (i.e. by using tools such as IDEF) to efficiently and effectively accomplish their shared purpose. Facilitates interaction between multiple customers who wish to collectively apply resources to cross-functional solutions. Coordinates multiple projects associated with health care programs and systems to include information systems.

Requirements

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment. A background investigation and credit check are required.
• May require working outside of normal duty hours to meet customer needs.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes assisting with health programs to provide solutions, technical assistance, and/or expertise to customers; reviewing programs to offer suggestions on increasing efficiency; and conducting briefings and/or presentations of information/recommendations to stakeholders. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11). Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
