The Security Operations and EOSH sections have managers responsible for Technical Center facility security; emergency management planning programs including an operations center for command, control, and communications with facility senior management and FAA HQ; and the Technical Center's managers responsible for the environmental, occupational safety and health programs.
Duties
The Program Manager serves as Branch Manager responsible for managing and directing the activities of both the Security Operations and EOSH Sections within the Center Operations Division. Manages the work of a large, multi-level organization typically through subordinate managers. Integrates work of multiple organizations to meet strategic goals of the organization and the FAA, participates in strategic planning for the FAA, and makes commitments (program, budget, etc) for a major organization. Products and services of this branch affect employees and managers across organizations (FAA, SJTA, Homeland Security, Coast Guard, etc.) within the Technical Center campus environment.
Requirements
- US Citizenship is required.
- Selective Service Registration is required for males born after 12/31/1959.

- Designated or Random Drug Testing required.
- A one-year supervisor/managerial probationary period may be required.

Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position.Experience includes: Experience leading or managing facility security, emergency management, environmental and occupational health and safety planning efforts.
