Duties
There are multiple vacancies on different teams within the Program Executive Office.
- For one of the teams, the incumbent will be responsible as an IT Specialist for leading technical and analytical projects, and participating as a member of a Business Intelligence analytics team, using IBM WebFocus tools alongside both federal employees and contract support staff to help accomplish initiatives. On this team, the incumbent may participate in the detailed design, coding, unit and systems testing, and documentation of new or enhanced Business Intelligence Geo Mapping and Analytics tools, applications, and queries.
- On a different team, the incumbent will focus on the fields of cybersecurity, enterprise architecture, and related tool development, in support of mission systems cyber services.

- Required to obtain and maintain appropriate Information Technology/Security certification equivalent to Information Assurance Manager Level I within six months of appointment date.
- The incumbent must sign a Statement of Understanding regarding the certification requirements and maintaining the appropriate certification is a condition of employment.
- The position is designated special-sensitive; the incumbent must obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance and Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI).
- The duties of this position may require temporary duty travel (TDY) or local travel.
- This position is telework eligible.
- Certifications to obtain within 6 months of entry on duty date are defined as one of (Cloud+, GICSP, or SSCP),alternately both (CEH, or CFR, and GSEC).

You must have specialized experience sufficient to demonstrate that you have acquired all the competencies necessary to perform at a level equivalent in difficulty, responsibility, and complexity to the next lower grade (GS/GG-11) in the Federal service and are prepared to take on greater responsibility. Generally, this would include one year or more of such specialized experience.
Specialized experience for this position includes: Experience with Enterprise Architecture of networks, cloud infrastructures, information resource management (IRM); Information Technology (IT) test and evaluation; IT configuration management; cybersecurity computer science disciplines; cybersecurity policy and planning; performing work to protect and defend information and information technology supporting the cybersecurity mission; documenting and addressing an organization's information security, cybersecurity architecture, and systems security engineering requirements throughout the acquisition life cycle.
Specifically you will be evaluated on the following competencies:
Cybersecurity - Protect and defend information and information systems to ensure confidentiality, integrity, and availability. (AKA Information Assurance)
Information Resources Management (IRM) - Develop or implement strategy and plans for utilization, tracking and management of information resources (such as personnel, equipment, funds, and Information Technology) to enable organizational and enterprise missions.
Information Technology Test and Evaluation - Test, monitor and evaluate Information Technology technologies during design, development, procurement and/or implementation to ensure internal and external requirements are met.
Information Technology Configuration Management - Plan, implement, track and/or evaluate configuration/requirement changes across the enterprise and organizations.
Education
Substitution of education may not be used in lieu of specialized experience for this grade level.
