About the position: This position will be assigned to the 6th Force Support Squadron Golf facility.
Frequent stooping, bending, reaching and climbing. May lift and carry objects weighting up to 50 pounds. Occasionally may lift objects weighing more than 50 pounds with assistance. This is a drug testing position and is subject to random drug tests.
Duties
Operates field-type tractors with attachments to maintain the grass at the golf course. Operates a variety of equipment to include but not limited to the following: mowers, aerators, plows, sprayers, disks, post hole diggers, movable dozer, blades, backhoe harrows.
Make all adjustments to equipment to ensure proper settings, connections and mechanical soundness of equipment.
Observes all safety rules and regulations pertaining to vehicle operation. Perform operator maintenance on field type tractors and related equipment.
Adhere to fire, safety, environment and facility security standards.
Adhere to Air Force and local directives, policies and procedures.

Qualifying Experience:
You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas:
Must have experience in operation and performing maintenance on field type tractors and associated equipment.
Must demonstrate the ability to manipulate both tractor and equipment controls at the same time; knowledge of equipment to make connection on mechanical drive shafts and hydraulic lines; and skill to manipulate equipment over different types of terrain. Must have experience in operating and performing maintenance on field type tractors and associated equipment.
Education
Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. This position does not allow for education substitution.
