About the position: This position will be assigned to the 355 Force Support Squadron, Resource Management Flight.
This position is a Regular Part Time. Regular-part time positions are guaranteed 20 hours but may work up to 40 hours per week and are entitled to benefits such as health, life insurance, 401k, and retirement.
Duties
The purpose of this position is to administer the following Air Force Systems: Defense Lodging System (DLS), Qubica, Services Employee Time System (SETS), Aloha Air Force Club's Point-of-Sale System, Rectrac, Food Trak, Golf Club Prophet System, and FSSNET (QOLNET/EISP). Ensure all equipment is PU compliant Monitors ongoing operations of network systems to ensure hardware and software are functioning properly and that operational standards are met. Users established computer tecbJ11ques to identify and promptly resolve network-related problems with the organization. Troubleshoots hardware, software, and Local Area Network (LAN) problems. Identifies and determines corrective action to be taken in case of individual job failures not covered by standard procedures. Resolves partial system failures (software or hardware related) by providing for revised applications of systems operating capabilities, which involves working through or around the problems with reduced capacity, and readjusting the system when full operating configuration is resolved. Participates with applications programmers and operations personnel to identify problems with applications, operation systems, or hardware that are difficult to pinpoint. Suggests methods for sequencing and software/hardware operation configuration to accept new requirements and resolve processing malfunctions. Adapts or develops new work procedures and instructions for applications by self and others. Also administers the process to consider user requests for additional computer hardware and software. Analyzes processes and/or problems relative to the design of selection of automated systems. Determines ifthe facility environment can provide for system requirements, and infrastructure is in place to support the system. Coordinates with other base agencies and contractors to ensure compliance standards are met. Maintains an extensive organizational inventory of computer hardware and software. Assists in the installation and testing of system releases and computer upgrades. Makes system improvement recommendations. Maintains established application programs and modifies program contents to provide for new data and output when such changes do not modify original programming logic and technique. Plans and implements security plans, procedures, and training to comply with Wing, Air Force and DoD Standards. Accomplishes risk analyses accreditation, and certification packages. Provides customer training and assistance for new computer systems. Provides technical assistance to current and potential users ofsystems to minimize computer disruptions. Provides support training on DLS, Qubica, SETS, Aloha, Rectrac, Foodtrac, and QoLNET. Meets all suspense in a timely manner. Required to travel IAW JTR to attend conference, training sessions, and other related meeting. Performs all other duties as assigned.

Qualifying Experience:
Knowledge of DOD and Air Force automated data processing and networking standards, policies, and techniques. Knowledge of computer hardware and software systems and these interfaces: DLS, Qubica, SETS, Aloha POS, Rectrac, Foodtrac, and QOLNET/EISP; systems comparable to COBOL and FORTRAN. Knowledgeab1e regarding data content and output options for a variety of administrative, scientific and/or technical applications that are processed on any of several multi-program operating system, Need to know facility environment and infrastructure to support computer systems. Ability to use and maintain a computer system, equipment, and software; analyze computer network, software, and hardware problems and develop effective and economical solutions; and train users on new computer systems. Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, A minimum CompTIA Security + required within two months of employment if not already obtained. Must successfully complete a National Agency Check with lnquiries (NACI). Position of Trust "This is a drug testing designated position.

Education
