Serves as a technical specialist responsible for soliciting, acquiring, collecting, evaluating, compiling and selecting appropriate technical navigational and related operational data for inclusion in aeronautical products and publications.

Qualifications
TO QUALIFY FOR THIS POSITION AT THE FG-11 LEVEL, you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least one (1) year of Specialized Experience equivalent to the FG-9 level. Specialized Experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position.Specialized Experience includes: Experience working with Bentley MicroStation, Bentley Map, Bentley OpenCities, ESRI ArcMap, and/or ESRI Arc Pro, and/or ESRI Arc Pro to apply basic cartographic and geographic principles for creating, maintaining, and revising aeronautical charting products, publications, or radar video maps.OREducation Substitution: Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.M., if related. (Transcripts Required)OrCombination education and experience may be qualifying for this position. Experience analyzing operational aeronautical/navigational practices, techniques and methods. Experience as a technical specialist providing quality control of complex job assignments working with one or more programs of Bentley MicroStation, Bentley Map, Bentley OpenCities, ESRI ArcMap, and/or ESRI Arc Pro to apply multifaceted cartographic and geographic principles for creating, maintaining, and revising aeronautical charting products, publications, or radar video maps.TO QUALIFY FOR THIS POSITION AT THE FG-13 LEVEL, you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least one (1) year of Specialized Experience equivalent to the FG-12 level. Specialized Experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position.Specialized Experience includes: Experience as a subject-matter expert providing high-level technical aeronautical and operational advice to other specialist related to cartographic principles. Ensures quality control of complex aeronautical information procedures by providing subject-matter guidance to other specialist related to creating, maintaining, and revising aeronautical charting products, publications, or radar video maps. Experience in recommending changes in policies, procedures, or specifications as it relates to aeronautical charting products, publications or radar video maps.Applicants should provide examples of Specialized Experience in their Work History.
