Do you have your CDL and NCCCO Boom Certification and looking for a change or
want to be home each night? If so, THE TRUSS CO. is seeking a full-time CLASS A
CDL Driver/Boom operator to deliver and crane roof trusses to residential and
commercial job sites. We are looking for hardworking, dependable individuals with a
clean driving record to join our SPOKANE, WA team.
This position works Monday-Friday with no weekends required. We strive to be flexible
with a person's schedule, value safety and operate a well-maintained fleet of trucks.
What you will do:
- Drive safely and obey all DOT regulations and rules
- Maintain accurate daily service logs and DOT hours
- Perform daily mandatory pre & post trip inspections
- Ensure product is correctly loaded on truck and secured appropriately
- Responsible for transporting finished product to jobsite and boom trusses to plate line
and single set as required by customer
- Notify Supervisor of any delivery issues or damage to product upon delivery, promptly
- Display a positive attitude and courteous behavior to customers and fellow employees
Minimum Requirements:
- Valid Class A License
- Valid NCCCO Boom certification, preferred
- Current Medical Certification Card
- Clean driver's record
- 1+ years driving experience, preferred
- Must be able to operate a manual transmission
- Ability to lift up to 80 lbs on an occasional basis
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, push/pull, climb, kneel, bend, twist/turn, reach overhead and
outward on a frequent basis
- Ability to maintain good work attendance
- Able to work overtime as needed
- In good standings with the FMCSA/Clearinghouse
The expected starting pay range is $33.00-36.00 per hour, based on the candidate's
equivalent experience and internal equity with other employees within the same job
classification. The position is eligible for overtime compensation based on the wage and
hour laws in the state which the job is performed.
