About the Position: As the Regional Logistics Manager between Division, subordinate districts & the Logistics Activity Center, you will serve as functional expert and principle advisor to the Division Commander & staff on all aspects of logistics management. Duties

Performs staff visits and inspections to field activities to provide technical assistance and to monitor status of new and ongoing program execution in all areas of logistics management. Manages logistics career programs for subordinate employees in the transportation, supply, and maintenance management career fields. Develops logistics portion of operational and contingency plans in support of division unique technical and emergency management missions (i.e. COOP); planning duties supporting initiatives and projects identified by USACE Logistics Corporate Board. Formulates regulatory, operational, and policy guidance in the absence of higher headquarter guidance. Performs real property management program oversight which includes all division and district facilities except the civil works project specific property; e.g., locks, dams and power plants.

  • Emergency Assignment: May be subject to 24-hour on-call in the event of an emergency. This service may require irregular working hours, work at locations other than the official duty station, and may include duties other than those specified.

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).
