Duties

Performs routine duties of servicing banquets either by providing for set menu banquets or taking individual orders Waiter work, with fewer procedure requirements than those involved in positions in restaurant, cafe or bar operations Works under close supervision of the banquet supervisor or leader who provides specific instruction for task to be performed. Performance is observed while in progress to ensure compliance with instructions and established procedures. Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
• A one year probationary period may be required.
• Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
• Must be willing to work an occasional rotating shift to include weekend and/or holiday shift as needed based on mission needs.
• Satisfactorily complete all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3 to include a medical examination
• Incumbent must be able to lift and move items weighing up to 40 pounds.
• Incumbent may also be required to complete a Tier 1 background investigation for a Common Access Card for physical access to federally controlled facilities.

Qualifications

Qualifications: 1. Must meet the state/local age requirement for serving alcoholic beverages (18) within 2 weeks of submitting application packet. 2. Applicants must be able to follow simple oral and/or written instructions. 3. No prior training or work experience is required.
